Collection: Cyanotypes – Original Botanical Prints

Cyanotypes

Original cyanotype prints, created using one of the oldest photographic processes. Drawings are reimagined through deep Prussian blue tones, with each print carrying subtle variations that make it unique. Printed by hand on 300gsm cold-pressed watercolour paper, signed by the artist.

Each cyanotype is exposed by sunlight and developed in water — a slow, mindful process that mirrors the patience of the trees themselves. Every piece bears subtle marks, brushstrokes, and chemical quirks of its making, ensuring that no two are ever the same.

These works celebrate the quiet character of trees — bent, bold, weeping, or reaching — and offer a timeless way of seeing familiar companions from walks and sketchbooks.

Whether hung alone or as part of a series, cyanotypes carry with them something enduring: a meeting of art, chemistry, and deep observation.
