Original Drawings on Cement

This collection brings together unique ink drawings made directly onto hand-cast cement slabs. Each work records an individual tree through closely observed, layered lines, set against the natural texture and subtle variations of the cement.

Every piece is individually cast, drawn and signed by Warren Garland, then presented in a solid black walnut frame, ready to hang. The small irregularities within the cement are part of the making process, giving each artwork its own surface and character.
