Worcestershire Sauce is an original ink drawing of a tree at Croome Court, Worcestershire, drawn directly onto a hand-cast cement tile by Birmingham artist Warren Garland (Warren Drawing Trees).
The tree is compact, angular, and slightly unruly — a small structure with a surprising amount of character. Like its namesake, it’s subtle at first, then unexpectedly bold. Croome Court is a National Trust landscape designed by Capability Brown, one of the finest examples of English landscape gardening in the country, and this tree was drawn there on location among the parkland’s old growth.
Part of an ongoing body of tree studies made on location across the UK, this is a one-of-a-kind original — not a print or reproduction. Drawn directly onto hand-cast cement tile using archival black ink, the natural tonal shifts and surface variations of the cement remain visible, ensuring no two tiles are identical.
Framed in a bespoke wooden frame and presented in a custom box, it is ready to collect or give.
