Highcliffe Silver Birch is a framed A4 limited edition giclée print reproduced from an original pen and ink drawing of a mature weeping silver birch growing opposite Highcliffe Castle in Dorset.
Standing beside a 1970s apartment block, the tree has gradually grown into the architecture around it. Its flowing canopy softens the strong geometric lines of the buildings behind it, creating a quiet balance between nature and the built environment. The drawing captures a moment of calm, where the tree appears settled, resilient and completely at home.
The larger A4 format allows the intricate linework and cascading foliage to be appreciated in greater detail, making it an ideal centrepiece for a study, hallway or living space.
Printed on 308gsm Hahnemühle Photo Rag (100% cotton) using archival pigment inks, every print faithfully reproduces the depth, texture and crisp detail of the original drawing.
Each print is professionally mounted with a grey conservation mount and presented in a dark wood frame, ready to hang straight from the box.
Part of Warren Garland’s ongoing collection of tree studies from across Britain, every print is from a strictly limited edition of 100, signed, titled and hand-numbered by the artist.
