Highcliffe Silver Birch is a limited edition A4 giclée print created from an original ink drawing by UK artist Warren Garland.
Drawn just opposite the entrance to Highcliffe Castle in Dorset, this mature weeping silver birch stands quietly outside a classic 1970s purpose-built block. Over the years the architecture has held its shape, but the tree has grown into its own presence — soft, cascading foliage balanced against clean, structural lines.
In winter, silver birches can look sparse and overgrown, their branches exposed and fragile. But come spring, they transform. Fresh foliage gathers into a sharp, sculptural canopy — almost architectural in itself — full of movement and light.
This drawing captures that moment of fullness: a tree at ease with its surroundings, mature, settled and quietly beautiful.
Each print is produced using museum-grade giclée printing on archival paper to preserve the depth and delicacy of the original ink linework.
