Clissold Weeper is a limited edition A5 giclée print reproduced from an original ink drawing of a silver birch in Clissold Park, Stoke Newington, London, by Birmingham artist Warren Garland (Warren Drawing Trees).
The tree stands quietly apart, its long curtain of branches falling almost to the ground and softening the familiar white trunk beneath. From a distance it appears calm and self-contained; closer inspection reveals thousands of individual pen marks, each slowly built by hand on location. The drawing balances delicacy with structure, capturing both the weight and lightness of the tree’s distinctive form.
Printed at A5, this edition offers an intimate way to own the work. Its smaller scale invites close viewing, making it equally suited to a bookshelf, gallery wall, or as a thoughtful gift for anyone who finds beauty in trees and quiet places.
Printed on 308gsm Hahnemühle Photo Rag (100% cotton) using archival pigment inks, every print faithfully reproduces the crisp linework and subtle tonal depth of the original drawing.
Part of Warren Garland’s ongoing series of urban tree portraits made across London and Birmingham, each print is signed, titled and hand-numbered by the artist.
