London Fields is a one-of-a-kind original tree drawing, made directly onto a hand-casted cement tile by UK artist Warren Garland. Featuring a compact, tropical-looking tree found lurking behind a public toilet block in East London, this piece is part drawing, part urban relic.
The tree is an Anacua, also known as the sandpaper tree—named for its rough leaves and tough spirit. Perfectly suited to the London Fields of the past.
- Original ink drawing on hand-casted cement tile
- Tile size: approx. 10 x 10 x 1 cm
- Signed and titled on the reverse
- One-off original artwork (not a print or edition)
- Ships from the UK in recyclable packaging
- Previously shown as part of an exhibition in Athens
Tucked between park trees and urban grit, London Fields is a small homage to a tree that’s seen things—maybe even sheltered a few late-night drinkers. It balances cheekiness and calm in a compact, tactile format.
This miniature sculpture-print hybrid is perfect for shelves, desks, or gifting to those who like their nature with a bit of personality.
