You’ll find this scrawny Hawthorne in someone’s garden next to a telephone box on the way up to the Tor in Glastonbury. After visiting the town, I can confirm Glastonbury is a very mystical place, I saw a couple of wizards, a lot of dreamcatchers and a massive collection of hawthorn trees which are the most mystical tree of this island. This is quite a remarkable place even for an old cynic Like me. The Tor is something special, once you’re past the low lying incense smoke and made it to the top you get to see the beautiful Somerset countryside rolling out before your eyes. It’s definitely with a visit, apparently king Arthur and Jesus have also visited, so you’ll be in company.
