 You will find this slim tree lurking outside the entrance to my gym. I find it a bit strange that it was planted by itself, but i suppose going to the gym can be a solitary experience, so it suits. I generally only swim here, but on the way to the pool i tend to look through the windows of the doors to the studios and halls. Through the windows unfolds different worlds depending on the time of day you are there. Sometimes you’re confronted with spandex, red faces and 90s hard house, other days badminton, fencing or the downward dog in loose fitting clothes.

After seeing these spectacles i tend to day dream about being involved, wearing spandex, opening my chakras or Lunging and shouting “on guard”. But once I’m in the pool with the cold water and the smell of chlorine around me the fantasy leaves me and back to my happiness in my solitude.
